Our Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success! We sold about $2,700 worth of books and other materials this past week.
Thanks to Mrs. Cyr and the Montana Reads Grant, every student in ELP to 6th grade received a FREE book for their own home library! 🎉 Some teachers were also able to expand their classroom libraries, and we added new titles to the school library.
Thank you to the Alberton community for supporting the book fair. Your support helps put more books in the hands of our students.

For four Monday nights, come hang out with a small, confidential, no-judgment group of other parents who are figuring it out too. We’ll talk about the stuff that is actually hard, learn practical tools you can use at home, and help you feel a little more confident—and a lot less alone—in parenting.
And because simply getting everyone out of the house on a Monday night is enough work:
🍽️ We feed your whole family dinner at 5 PM — FREE.
🧸 Childcare is FREE.

Alberton School has received a $75,000 grant from the Montana Healthcare Foundation over the next two years to strengthen behavioral health and family wellbeing right here in our rural community!
Leading this work is Amanda Johansson, PCLC, our School & Family Wellbeing Counselor, who calls Alberton home and is raising her family right here alongside yours. Amanda provides short-term counseling, parent and family support, educator consultation, crisis support, care coordination, referrals, and help navigating community resources.
Support starts before a crisis. Families can access parent education, caregiver support, early intervention, and prevention programming designed to strengthen relationships, build skills, and help families navigate challenges as they arise.
The grant brings families together through practical, community-centered programming, including:
• Sturdy Parenting
• Family Game Nights
• Screen-Free Night
• Safe Sitter programming
